ETJ is super stoked to be partnering and supporting our friends at Project Apoyo. Project Apoyo is a 501 (c)(3) organization that is truly changing the way folks think about charity. Our friends at Project Apoyo are committed to improving Guatemalan
communities through education and business opportunities with interactive, hands-on love.
Of the 17 million people living in Guatemala, 75% live under the poverty line. 50% of children under the age of 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition and the government supplies a mere 14 cents a day per student for food. Without help, 25% of youth will
not be able to read or write. 1.5 million Guatemalan children are consistently out of school and only 10% ever reach high school.
All of us here at ETJ Apparel are so stoked to be able to help out Project Apoyo. A percentage of all of our monthly sales is donated to Project Apoyo and will be used to support one of the following needs:
Help sponsor a child’s education for a year
Help sponsor a family’s business venture
Help provide school meals for a year
Help grow Project Apoyo’s village bakery business
One of the ways we enjoy our own journey’s here at ETJ Apparel is by giving to those who are in need. Serving and loving others is deeply rooted within the fibers of our beings. We believe that we have been blessed to be a blessing and we know that
through our donations hands-on love will be presented to the Guatemalan people.
Project Apoyo is such a great representation of an organization striving to help others enjoy their journey in life and we couldn’t be happier to play a part.
